The inaugural Radio 1RPH Annual Appeal has now wound up after a busy week – and what a result!

The station’s board, staff and volunteers have been overwhelmed by the support shown by our listeners and the greater community.

The appeal exceeded all expectations, and has raised over $32,000 towards keeping our service right where it belongs – on the Canberra, Wagga Wagga and Junee airwaves and bringing a world of information to those less able to access it in a visual way.

But its more than that for us. The support and encouragement shown by our community has been uplifting for all of us who help bring this service to life – but often wonder how it is being received… (pardon the pun)!

Now we know, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.  Thank you everyone.
