Hands Up for Canberra Giving Day
Help Raise Funds for Radio 1RPH with Hands Across Canberra
Every $1 you donate will become $2 with matched funding available for the first $5,000 raised by each of our charities.
On Thursday the 4th our president Sandra along with the station manager David attended an introductory session to learn how Hands Across Canberra will help Radio 1RPH and other local non-for-profit community organizations raise funds. Hands Across Canberra invests in programs that strengthen the Canberra community. The campaign helps charities by matching donations made through individual fundraising with corporate donations. Christmas Day 2020 Program Guide
The Scarlet Pimpernel comes to Radio 1RPH
Tune in on Monday 5 October at 3pm for a special broadcast of the Scarlet Pimpernel, performed by students of Perform Australia (formerly Canberra Academy of Dramatic art). This specially created radio play is brought to you in a collaboration between 1RPH and Perform Australia (www.perform.edu.au). Read more

Radio 1RPH Open Day
As part of the 2019 International Day for Universal Access to Information, and in conjunction with our 2019 Appeal, Radio 1RPH is holding a public open day on Saturday, 28 September, between 10am and 3pm.
This is an opportunity for listeners, supporters, volunteers and the interested public to join us for a look at what it takes to turn print into sound and provide Canberra and the capital region’s Radio Reading Service. Read more
